If you're suddenly craving Chex mix, here's the way I make it. I do not have much self control around this snack so I don't make it often. That, plus it involves buying 3 different boxes of expensive cereal. But honestly, it's almost always worth it.
Baked Chex Mix Recipe
6 tablespoons butter, melted (salted or unsalted okay)
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 ½ teaspoons seasoned salt
¾ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon onion powder
3 cups Corn Chex cereal
3 cups Rice Chex cereal
3 cups Wheat Chex cereal
1 cup mixed nuts
1 cut bite-size pretzels or Goldfish
1 cup bagel chips
Preheat oven to 250 degrees F. Grease a large roasting pan lightly with butter.
Combine the melted butter with the Worcestershire sauce, salt, garlic powder and onion powder in a large bowl. Stir cereal, nuts, pretzels, and bagel chips until coated.
Spread in pan and bake for about an hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Let cool.

Mmmm, I really like Chex Mix, but you'll never guess who in my family doesn't. Yep, my husband. He doesn't really any trail mix type, toss it in your mouth, crunchy mixes. He's weird, I tell ya, weird! The danger for me with these is I would snack and snack and not realize how much I just ate. 😉 I'll have to check out the contest.
