Tips for Making Rice Krispies Treats
Everyone has their own little tricks for making the best Rice Krispies Treats. Obviously, adding toffee bits and making them Toffee Rice Krispies Treats is one. My other tips are to 1) use salted butter. 2) let it melt fully before adding the marshmallows so that it will brown a little as the marshmallows melt. And 3) freeze the treats for a few minutes before slicing for a cleaner cut.

Yum, these look delicious! I've always seen the Heath bits everywhere (Albertsons, Smart & Final, Vons, Walmart...) but I like your idea to chop up the bars too!
