These garlic spiced cashews are a bold, savory snack perfect for parties, road trips, or low-carb snacking. Quick to make and totally "moreish" (my favorite word to steal from the UK).
Preheat your oven to 325°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, mix the oil with garlic powder, paprika, cayenne, and salt. If you want, add a little sugar as well. This won't make them overly sweet it just perks up the flavor.
Add the cashews and toss to coat evenly.
Spread them out in a single layer on the baking sheet.
Roast for 15–20 minutes, stirring once halfway through, until lightly golden and fragrant.
Let cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
Storage Tip: These garlic spiced cashews keep well at room temperature for up to a week and even longer in the fridge or freezer.
Notes
If you use roasted cashews you can reduce the roasting time a bit.
