Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9-inch metal pie dish lightly with extra butter.
In a food processor, process the Oreos into fine crumbs. You should get 2 cups.
Mix 2 cups of Oreo crumbs and sugar (if using), then add melted butter and stir until evenly blended.
Empty mixture directly into the pie dish. Use the side of a measuring cup to press it tightly up and onto the side, and press down the bottom.
Set on a baking sheet and bake at 350 for 8 to minutes. As soon as you pull the pie from the oven, use the side of your measuring cup to press the puffed, warm crust into place. Let cool.
