In large bowl, combine sugars, butter, peanut butter, vanilla and egg; beat well.

Notes
375 F will give you cookies with crisp edges and soft centers. For cookies that are crisp all the way through, bake at a lower temperature for a longer time, such as 325 for about 18 minutes.
